BALTIMORE, MD (2/10/10) — Baltimore-based Weiss PR Associates, Inc. has been selected to oversee public relations for two area non-profit organizations, the Presbyterian Home of Maryland (PHM) and the Maryland Economic Development Association (MEDA).
The Presbyterian Home of Maryland named Weiss PR to handle public relations surrounding PHM’s new continuing care retirement community, the Village at Carsins Run. To be constructed on 138 acres in Aberdeen, MD adjacent to Ripken Stadium, The Village at Carsins Run will offer independent living, assisted living, and nursing care – all in an accessible, neighborhood-like setting which allows seniors to remain close to family, friends, and the community in which they have been living.
MEDA chose Weiss PR to handle public relations for its major programs, including its Spring Conference and Annual Meeting. A non-profit organization of economic development professionals established in 1961, MEDA promote the economic well-being of Maryland by working to improve the state’s business climate and the professionalism of those in the field of economic development.
Weiss PR Associates, Inc. is a different kind of public relations firm – large enough to handle even the most complex communications challenges and get results, yet small enough to provide clients with ongoing, senior-level involvement, personalized service, and customized solutions that meet clients’ needs and budgets.
